I work as Respiratory Therapist in a big hospital in Saint Louis MO. Love what I am doing. I share my apartment with my daughter and my german shephard mix roxi. I love my family and hopefully soon I have my sons join us. Miss my grandchildren. I love animals and I am a Member of the Defenders of the Wild, National Wildlife Fund and World Wildlife Federation. I donate to our local animal shelters. I write poetry and short stories. got acknowledged by the International poetry society and two of my poems were published. I like music and read mystery, starte to read the "left behind" series and read in the bible.I am very interested in the time we live in and what it has in stall for us ...... I have been lost and confused for a long time, but I found my faith again last year, and still work on it - its a neverending task, as we are tried everyday. but I feel better about myself. I have been reading about the end times and heard of 2012, some people believe they know the exact date when Jesus returns, but he himself told his disciples ONLY the father knows......... reading booklets and trying to join a church got me only more confused, so I am back to the old drawingboard, which never fails ............ my attitude toward faith is this: I can pray and read the bible where ever and when ever I feel like it. God is everywhere, I don't have to sit in a church, I can sit in the park and just meditate and say a little prayer. I know God started working with me. May i know who r u. I need to share civilization and knowledge of each other.
I have been trying to find the right church for quite some time now, and even tried a church a coworker suggested, it was alright, it did feel good, just to be there, but somehow I got the feeling again, that I don't belong there ..... anybody ever felt like this?
anyway, I am back to the person that says God is everywhere. I can pray or read the bible where ever I want to. I know I changed my life since I got my faith back, and I am still working on making it better. I can tell that God is working with me. |
