End Of The World 2012?

I might be wrong but god created us in his own image, we were born out of the sun and physically we don't look like the sun, but all living things, planets and everything we see and touch is carbon based from a scientific point of view. So in science terms we were created in the suns own image of carbon? I often see the sun as the father of the solar system, the son as in sun and a holy spirit burning bright in the sky bringing us the warmth and light does he not? My belief is the sun is god created in his own imagine which then created us.  Is the bible written in astrology, is the night sky the original bible written by god for us to decode and study? Is the end of the Mayan calendar the start of the new age of Aquarius? Will God return with a new prophet or son come 2012 to start a new age. So many questions, many possible answers. I believe in god and i'm sure there is much more to it than just the bible. The bible was a written guide at the time 2,000 years ago to go by, things have moved on since then and so our technology as moved on and hopefully a new way forward for mankind is now the need as maybe bible has done all it could do. I have my own beliefs, I feel and prey god can understand my soul as a good soul despite its wrongs. Life is about learning from the day we are born, doing wrongs sometimes is the only way for some peoples ways and capacities to learn and put things right.  I feel more of a balanced person, doing a wrong but balancing  it with a right, my good intentions  are often equalled with the bad ones.  I hope I can turn the corner and make the righteous path, in a world with such evil we can always have hope.

or was it just that the calendar ran out of space so it ended on 21/12/12?

not sure on how they predicted events thousands of years in advance but you'd think if it was some sort of prediction we would have that ability nowdays seeing as our age is far more advanced.
