Many people just don't want to know or even think about what might happen after they die. They'd rather live in ignorance and hope for the best. They hedge their bets on the shaky belief that if there is a God and if there is a judgement day, they are pretty sure (but not certain) that they would have done enough to get into heaven.
However, if you invite them to test their goodness, they shy away from that too. Could it be that deep down we know we are filthy sinners and haven't got a chance in heaven? | |

I feel like saying, "LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE" but I will resist the urge. Bible Truth, I've said this before about your posts, you have been led astray. Please, check these things out. Your links point to the heresies of Harold Camping who believes the world will end on May 21, 2011. He said it would end in 1994 and even published his belief about this. We're still here! The words "False Prophet" quickly come to mind. If Camping was living in Old Testament times he would now be a dead false prophet. Dead by stoning. FromCamping's new book "To God be the Glory" he says, "Thus when Jesus went to the cross, He was not there to pay for our sins" He also claims that the eternal wrath of God on the unsaved will last 5 months! Everything about this mans theology stinks. We are warned about people like this in 2 Peter 3:16 which says, “There are somethings in them (the letters of Paul in the NT)that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their owndestruction, as they do the other Scriptures.” Charles Spurgeon once said, "In manycases sheer fanaticism has been the result of exclusively dwelling on prophecy, and probably more men have gone mad on that subject than on any other religiousquestion." So that you can check this out for yourself, look at http://www.scionofzion.com/depart_out.htm BEGIN WITH THIS LINK! http://www.christiancourier.com/articles/582-harold-campings-new-revelation-leave-the-church

Please, this man has been exposed as a wolf in sheeps clothing. Don't follow him. He is leading many to hell.

Please check out these links and decide for yourselves if they are faithful to the Bible. Remember there is only one true understanding when it comes to scripture.
